teaching philosophy
I believe dance is a powerful mirror of life—a reminder that we are meant to move, feel, and live fully. My purpose as a dance educator is to help people reconnect with the joy, freedom, and beauty that brought them to dance in the first place. Whether it was grooving in a bedroom, watching your favorite performances, or just feeling the music, that spark matters—and I want to help nurture it.

My classes are spaces for both rigor and release. While technique and discipline are important for growth, I believe that healing, joy, and self-expression are equally essential. I strive to create environments where students feel safe enough to be vulnerable, free enough to take risks, and supported enough to discover more of themselves through movement.

To me, dance is not reserved for the elite—it’s for everyone, because life is for everyone. You may not have danced your whole life, but you’ve lived your whole life. That means you already have everything you need to move. My teaching invites students to remember that: to live, to dance, and to be fully, unapologetically themselves.
TUTTING
Explore the art of precision and geometry through tutting. This class breaks down the fundamentals of angles, lines, and rhythmic control, encouraging dancers to discover creativity within structure. While rooted in technique, the focus is on unlocking freedom in the details—one shape at a time.
Jazz funk
Jazz funk blends the performance quality of jazz with the raw energy of hip hop. This class is about letting go while staying sharp—mixing grooves, hits, and stylized choreography. Perfect for dancers who want to perform full-out and reconnect with the joy of just dancing.
contemporary
Contemporary offers a unique fusion of technique, emotion, and exploration. This class allows dancers to understand the importance of storytelling. This class emphasizes grounded movement, musicality, and storytelling through the body. You’ll train in fluidity, floorwork, and dynamic contrast while connecting deeply to your intention. More than just shapes, this is about feeling—and finding freedom through it.
improvisation
Improv is where you discover yourself, both as an artist and as a human. This class uses prompts, music, and mindful guidance to assist dancers in developing their intuitive strength, allowing movement to come from an authentic source. There is no right or wrong way to improvise as long as it is genuine to you.
heels
This class brings confidence, power, and grace in the dancer. Heels is a journey into movement that empowers you to take up space—physically and energetically. Whether you're new to heels or building on experience, the goal is to explore your unique voice in a supportive, uplifting environment. Technique meets intention here.
hip hop
This class celebrates the roots and evolution of hip hop through movement that’s both dynamic and soulful. You'll train in musicality, grooves, and foundational techniques while exploring your individuality. Come as you are, leave even more yourself.
